I read this very interesting theory in a magazine the other day. It was a magazine devoted to biology and physiology of the natural world. It pointed out that there are several similarities between the evolution of biological life forms, and the evolution of pseudo intelligent computer networks, such as the Internet.

The other day a couple of friends came over. I wanted to show them this video I’d made, and uploaded to YouTube. I had been telling them about it for a while, and they really wanted to see it. When it finally came time to watch it, my computer was really slow. I thought maybe it was a problem with YouTube, so I went to another site where I uploaded it. Same problem.

There has been a lot of discussion lately about recent technological inventions. There is new decade upon us, and this is always a time to look back and admire our accomplishments. What is likely the most agreed upon useful invention of the last decade, if not the last century, is the Internet.

If you took a survey of the most influential historians today to find out their opinion on the greatest invention in the history of humanity, they would likely agree that the Internet is high up on the list, if not number one. The Internet will likely go down in history as one of the true turning points in social interactions.

Today, it is no secret that the Internet is a fantastic place to surf and have lots of fun. Many people use the Internet for business purposes, from police stations doing forensics work to high profile executives having video conferences. If you haven’t really thought about the powerful implications of the Internet, then you are really missing out on the greatest invention of the last century.

Any one that hasn’t been living in cave the past few years know about this wonderful invention called the Internet. The Internet provides a vast assortment of benefits. But there is a dark side. The Internet also is a dangerous source for adware, spyware, malware and viruses. If you are spending any amount of time online, then it pays to know about these evil entities so you can better defeat them.
